Secret Lair Showdown

The competition is big, but the Secret Lair Showdown prizes are bigger! The winner of this tournament series receives an exclusive Dark Ritual Secret Lair card and an oversized card to match.

MagicCon: Las Vegas has 4 Secret Lair Showdown Qualifiers with invites for the Secret Lair Showdown Championship. If you are part of the top 8 of a Secret Lair Showdown Qualifier you will be invited to compete in the Secret Lair Showdown Championship.

• Entry: $125
• Constructed Tournament: Modern legal deck required.
• Rounds: Up to 5, 50-minute Single Elimination rounds with a cut to top 8.
• Championship Invite: Top 8 players are invited to play in the Secret Lair Showdown Championship Sunday, October 27th.
• Rules Enforcement Level: Competitive, digital decklists required.
• Estimated Length: 5 to 6 Hours.

Players already qualified for the Secret Lair Showdown Championship during that MagicCon cannot play in another qualifier during that weekend. Please speak to a Pastimes representative to receive a refund for your other Secret Lair Showdown Qualifier entries. 

This event will be run on Melee.gg (https://www.melee.gg). To participate you need a Melee.gg (https://www.melee.gg/) account. You will be preregistered into the event on Melee.gg with the email associated with your Leap account. Decklists must be submitted through Melee.gg.

• Participation: Spell Pierce Secret Lair Showdown exclusive card. 
• 1st-8th: Invitation to the Secret Lair Showdown Championship on Sunday.
• 9th-16th: Two (2) Duskmourn: House of Horrors Play Booster Boxes and a Secret Lair. 
• 17th-32nd: One (1) Duskmourn: House of Horrors Play Booster Box and a Secret Lair. 
• 33rd-64th: Eighteen (18) Duskmourn: House of Horrors Play Booster Packs. 

Note: Secret Lair prizes will be different based on bracket. 9th-16th will receive a different Secret Lair than 17th-32nd and so on. 

11:00 AM (Sunday, October 27th)

• Constructed Tournament: Players are expected to bring their Modern legal deck from their Qualifier.
• Rounds: 5 Single Elimination rounds
• Rules Enforcement Level: Competitive, decklists from the qualifiers will be used. 
• Estimated Length: 5 to 6 Hours.  

• Participation: Murktide Regent Secret Lair Showdown exclusive card. 
• 1st: Dark Ritual Secret Lair Showdown exclusive card, a Secret Lair, and an oversized Dark Ritual card! 
• 2nd: A Secret Lair. 
• 3rd-4th: A Secret Lair. 
• 5th-8th: A Secret Lair. 
• 9th-16th: A Secret Lair. 
• 17th-32nd: A Secret Lair. 

Note: Secret Lair prizes will be different based on bracket. 2nd will receive a different Secret Lair than 3rd-4th and so on.
