On Demand Events
Want to play events that you don’t need to pre-register for? On Demand Events, also known as ODEs, are small and quick play experiences that happen every day at MagicCon! ODEs are perfect for players who don’t have time to commit to scheduled ticketed play but still want to play for prizes.
To play make sure to stop by the Registration Stage at Ticketed Play Headquarters and purchase ODE vouchers. Vouchers are good for any available On Demand Event. There is no pre-registration available for On Demand Events.
Attendees may purchase a maximum of $100 of ODE Vouchers per visit to the Registration Stage at Ticketed Play Headquarters. ODE Vouchers can be used for ODE entry fees or redeemed at the Prize Wall for 500 Prize Tix.
How to Register for ODEs
Step 1: Purchase ODE vouchers in $5 increments from the Registration Stage at Ticketed Play Headquarters. You may purchase several extras if you expect to play in multiple events all weekend.
Step 2: When you are ready to play, go to the On Demand Events waiting area. Tables are labeled with different event types. Once your table has enough players, call for a judge and they will collect your vouchers to start your ODE.

- Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- VIP Access starting at 9:30 AM
Commander ODEs
- Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- VIP Access starting at 9:00 AM
