Creator Central Presented By

Creators are a vital part of the MagicCon experience, and we’re thrilled you’ll be joining us! This manual will help you with everything you need to know before and during the show such as where to go, how to access creator perks, and how to make the most of your time onsite. Thank you for being part of the Magic community and helping bring the event to life!

Creator Meet & Greets

The Creator Central Meet & Greets are available to any creator with a creator badge. Emails regarding sign up interests will be sent out, and scheduling will be on a first come, first served basis.

All creators with a scheduled timeslot will be required to be on time and remain at their designated table with their name for the duration of the Creator Central Meet & Greet.

All Meet and Greets are free to MagicCon attendees.

The full Creator Central Meet & Greet schedule will be posted on the website for community viewing prior to the convention.

A host staff member will be assigned to the Creator Central Meet & Greet section. Any requests or concerns should be directed towards them to address or escalate to the Creator Central lead.

Spectacle Play and Game Play Table Events

Spectacle Play and Game Play Table Application Deadline: Sunday, January 25, 2026

Creator badges are not required to apply. Approved applicants will receive scheduling details within 2 weeks of the application deadline.

A host staff member will be assigned to both sections. Any requests or concerns should be directed towards them to address or escalate to the Creator Central lead.

Giveaways and Promotional Material

The selling of any product during scheduled events in Creator Central is prohibited. Giveaways are permitted as long as they follow the Fan Content Policy. 

Product Giveaways

We cannot guarantee each event will have available stock to provide you to pass out to attendees and fans. If you are interested in doing surprise and delights, please email [email protected] with the subject line Request: Surprise & Delight MagicCon [City]

Any product provided for surprise and delights must be distributed in the Creator Central area.

Creator Group Photo/Video

Any creators willing to participate in the group photo/video need to be in Creator Central on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Exact location will be determined by the area lead and photographer.

The Creator badge gives you access to attend MagicCon all weekend, access to the Command Zone, and a MagicCon swag bag to be picked up on site only.

All Creator badges are available onsite for pickup at Will Call. Creator badges will not be mailed out prior to the convention.

Creator badges do not:

  • Cover any transportation, hotel, or any other travel accommodations
  • Grant early or special access into MagicCon
  • Give the ability to cut lines
  • Include free access into any events requiring an additional ticket
  • Grant early access or extra opportunities to purchase exclusive merchandise, On-Demand events, ticketed play events, or meet and greets

If you have purchased an attendee badge for yourself prior to receiving your Creator badge confirmation, you may email [email protected] to receive a refund.

We cannot refund badges for those who did not receive a Creator badge confirmation.

If you purchased attendee badges for others to attend who are non-creators and were not approved for the Creator badge, we cannot provide a refund for those badges.

You may use this email template to expedite the response time to confirm your Creator badge refund:

Hi, my name is [insert legal name] and my creator name is [insert creator name/handle]. I received a Creator badge and I am looking to get a refund for my previously purchased badge. I purchased my badge under the email [insert email].

If you purchased badges for your whole creator group: I purchased badges for the following creators who have been approved to receive a Creator badge: [list out everyone’s full names and creator names/handles they used in their Creator badge application that was approved]

If your badge was purchased by someone else, please email [email protected] with the following information:

Hi, my name is [Insert legal name] and my creator name is [insert creator name/handle]. I received a Creator badge and I am looking to get a refund for my previously purchased ticket. My [relationship], [insert full name] purchased my MagicCon ticket from the email [insert the relation’s email].

We cannot refund badges for non-creators who did not receive a Creator badge.

Creator badges do not cover onsite play events and we cannot refund any tickets purchased for play events if you received a Creator badge.

Purchased events are attached to the email you used to register, not your badge. If you receive a refund for your attendee badge after claiming your Creator badge, you do not need to do anything to transfer your tournaments. Please keep your Purchase Confirmation emails as proof of purchase.

If you purchased an attendee badge, you can transfer that badge to another person, or request a refund.

Creator badges are non-transferable and non-refundable.

No, you do not lose access to your paid play event tickets. Those tickets are separate from your Creator badge.

Swag Bag Pickup Times

Swag Bags will be available for Creator pickup in Creator Central ONLY during the first and last hour of each convention day.

  • Friday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Reporting Misconduct

MagicCon: Las Vegas is dedicated to making a fun and safe environment for all. Please click here for our full Anti-Harassment policy.  

  • Contact local law enforcement first in any situation where a crime has occurred
  • Contact the nearest convention security officer if you are concerned about your immediate safety
  • If you receive threats or experience harassment prior to or outside of MagicCon:
    • Report directly to the space or platform where it occurred first.
    • Notify Wizards via the reporting form located HERE so we’re aware, particularly if there is a threat of harm or comments that make direct reference to MagicCon.
    • Please understand that Wizards cannot moderate conduct outside of Wizards spaces.
  • If you receive threats or harassment at MagicCon:
    • Notify show security and/or the Creator Central area lead.
    • Submit full details HERE.
    • Non-urgent reports can also be made through the MagicCon app while the event is in progress.
  • Retain screenshots and URLs for reporting purposes.

MagicCon Party

Party tickets may be available to creators, but will require an RSVP by a given deadline. Information regarding party passes will be sent out via email to all creator badge holders with details regarding sign-ups, requirements, and deadlines when applicable.
