Forgetful Fish Qualifiers

Fun with Friends – Fun with Fish! Play in a Battlebox variant where you and your opponent share an 80-card fishy deck. Battle your way to the Fishy finals to catch a graded fish of your own and win the Forgetful Fish trophy. Oh – and EVERYONE gets a playmat with their entry! 

A Battlebox variant originally created by Nick Floyd. The “Forgetful” part comes from the eight copies of Memory Lapse and the “Fish” part reflects the ten copies of Dandân. While the big fish himself is the only creature the rest of the deck features a slew of blue instant and sorcery spells to manipulate the top of the deck and the stack. 

Accumulate all your knowledge of deck manipulation, bend your opponent's memory on the stack, supplant the battlefield with a big fishy friend, and remind your opponent who's the boss by slapping them with 4 fishy damage at a time!

• Players share an 80-card library as well as graveyard and exile zones
• Players start the game at 20 life
• At the beginning of the game, players alternate drawing cards until both players have 7 cards
• If an opening hand does not contain two or more lands, that player may reveal their hand and take a free mulligan
• A player loses the game if they draw from an empty deck
• If an effect causes both players to draw a card, then the active player deals the cards in the same fashion as the opening hands, starting with the opponent
• If an effect returns a card from “your” graveyard or library, it refers now to the shared graveyard or library
